Media Library

Every field in the product that plays audio to a caller — a voicemail greeting, a message before a hangup, hold music — picks from this library. You can’t paste a link into those fields; you add the clip here (or from the field itself) and then choose it. The tab says it plainly: Record or upload audio once — voicemail greetings, drop messages, hold music — then pick it on any campaign or number. Messages and hold music are kept separate, so each field only offers its own kind.

Type Where it’s offered
Message Voicemail greetings and spoken messages — the Voicemail greeting and Message fields on a campaign’s queue-timeout and no-agent actions, and on a number’s own no-answer action
Hold music Hold-music fields only

A clip’s kind is what keeps the two apart. A hold-music clip never appears in a greeting picker and vice versa, which is why a clip you can’t find is usually filed as the wrong type rather than missing.

Filter tabs across the top: All, Messages, Hold music.

Column What it shows
Name The clip’s name, with a badge: Default, AI voice, recorded, or uploaded
Type Message or Hold music
Preview A player — listen without leaving the page
Length Minutes and seconds
Added The date it was created

Rows badged Default are the built-in clips behind the first option in every audio picker — Default (built-in) on a greeting or message field, Default loop on hold music. They can’t be renamed, re-typed or deleted.

Add audio opens a dialog with four tabs.

Record — record from your microphone in the browser. Press the button to start, again to stop, then preview it or Re-record. Recording stops on its own at five minutes. Your browser will ask for microphone permission the first time; if it’s blocked you’ll be told to allow it and try again.

UploadChoose a file, then preview it. The dialog states the formats: mp3, wav, m4a, or ogg — we convert it automatically. Files over 10 MB are refused with a message saying so. The name box fills in from the filename, and you can change it.

AI Voice — type what the caller should hear and pick a voice, then Preview voice to hear it read aloud before you commit. Up to 800 characters, counted for you in the corner. Generate & save turns it into a real audio clip: Saved once as an audio clip — the caller hears this exact recording, not a live read. Six voices are offered: Brooke — Female, Claudia — Female, Jillian — Female, Aiden — Male, Arvin — Male and Asher — Male.

AI Voice makes Message clips only — there’s no hold-music option on that tab. For Record and Upload you choose the Type yourself before saving.

Library — the clips you already have, to play, rename or delete without leaving the dialog.

Every clip needs a Name before Save clip is available. It’s internal, and it’s what you’ll be scanning for in the picker later, so name it the way you’d search for it.

The pencil on a row opens Edit Audio, which changes two things: the Name (how this clip shows up in the library and in every audio picker) and the Type (Messages are offered on greeting / drop-message fields; hold music only on hold-music fields.). Re-typing a clip is how you move one between the two pickers. The audio itself can’t be edited; re-record or re-upload for that.

  • Hold music and the queue-timeout Voicemail / message audio — a campaign’s General tab
  • Message audio for the no-agent actions — a campaign’s Outbound and Inbound tabs
  • A number’s own no-answer greeting or message — that number’s settings screen

Every one of those pickers carries a + Add or manage audio link that opens the same dialog as Add audio — it just fixes the type to whatever that field needs.
